Hello, horror fans and welcome to the official Live From Manchester Morgue horror movie blog!

Live From Manchester Morgue is an English horror film podcast created and hosted by two bona fide Northern Men, Gary Hames and Ken Talbot, who came together (oo-er) over a mutual love of the horror genre to produce a show about some of their favourites.

“A podcast with two middle-aged white guys talking about horror films”, you say? Truly mind-blowing!

Don’t worry, we get it. We know there are many other shows out there with a similar setup but how many of them can you say have hosts that sound like extras from Game of Thrones? Probably only two or three at best (not including ours).

What we do have is knowledge and fun. Bags of it. Gary and Ken have been watching horror films for their entire lives which means if nothing else, you can rely on them to know what they’re talking about. Ken also studied film so brings a sharp, critical eye to the discussion whilst Gary is a former horror host himself and knows a thing or two about putting on a bloody good show.

This blog is just another creepy corner of the Morgue. We’ll be writing about films we love but haven’t managed to cover on the podcast, especially newer horror releases we think you’ll want to sink your teeth into.
